We are very lucky to have a park right next to our townhome. So, almost every day, Rhys and I venture out there while grabbing the mail.
Justin was home today, so we took advantage of the evening and went on a walk as a family. The park has two baseball diamonds, a playground, a tennis court, a pavilion, and a jogging path with ditch that runs by it. It ends where an old railroad for transporting rocks, coal, and other materials from the quarries in the mountains across valley was.
|We saw this big dog in a backyard on our walk. Justin loves big dogs. I immediately thought of the beast from the Sandlot.|
|We both LOVE birds of pray and saw this beauty. We were able to sneak up pretty close to it before it flew away. In a different life, Justin would’ve been a falconer!|
At this small “memorial”, Justin, Rhys, and I sat in the shade and just enjoyed the weather.
