Alfredo Pesto Chicken Pasta

First of all, here is my favorite outfit for the week. The weather was nice. It is finally spring! So, I’m starting to transition my winter outfits to spring outfits.

Brown cap shirt (DownEast), brown jacket and leggings (Walmart), High heel boots (my favorite pair! I can’t remember where I bought it), Spring dress (Ross)

I love Pesto. A lot. Like, a lot a lot. But, it’s expensive. Well, one day, we splurged on grocery shopping. I like splurging. Typically I splurge on expensive cheese or expensive bakery bread. That day, I splurged on pesto sauce! What can I say, I like Italian. A lot.

Today, you get to experience, for the first time on this blog a pattern that will continue henceforth. Step by step picture directions! YAAAY!

1) Cut up 2 chicken breasts and veggies. Our pasta favorites are zucchini, onions, carrots, green peppers, and tomatoes.

2) Saute all of it in a pan while you are boiling noodles. We used a rotinni and penne noodles. As you saute the chicken and vegetables, sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning on it.
Looks yummy already!

3) When the noodles are done, drain them. Then, poor a few spoon fulls of pesto into the mix and stir until the pesto covers it all. Then, pour some alfredo into it, to the consistency you want.

Smells delicious!

4) Pour it over the pasta and sprinkle asiago cheese over it. (Sadly, I only splurged on pesto, no asiago, so I sprinkled parmesan on it.

It was very delicious! I’ve missed the taste of pesto so much! Justin loved it!
