I am currently:

Not Showering/Getting Ready for Church: This morning, our toilet threw up for no apparent reason and flooded the entire bathroom. We are too afraid to touch any other water in the bathroom, like the sink or tub, until maintenance comes. Church is in an hour and fifteen minutes…maintenance won’t come for at least 2 hours.

Wearing: Pajamas which includes yoga pants because they don’t squeeze my pregnant belly, and Justin’s shirt because I love big shirts as pajamas.

Eating: Eggs with paprika for breakfast.

Drinking: A big cup of OJ to help with my cold.

Swallowing: Prenatal vitamins and sudafed.

Delaying: Taking down Christmas decorations and cleaning the house.

Watching: We are in the middle of a Star Wars marathon–one movie per night. We are currently waiting to pick up Episode III from a friend.

Needing: To use the bathroom…badly. Hurry, maintenance!!!

Having: Carpal tunnel due from all the typing I do as a teacher/blogger. I blame pregnancy. And it’s always my left hand, too…

Grading: 5 paragraph essays on What Is Courage. I’m pretty darn impressed with these rough drafts so far!

Excited For: The Robert Burns Dinner at BYU hosted by the Utah Scots Association this Saturday! I love Robert Burns and I love Scottish food! The $28 per person is totally worth it, especially since this may be our last time we’re able to do it before Justin graduates in the spring.

Wishing: I wasn’t sick! And I could get ready for church….

Missing: My good friend Natashya from Those Weird Heims. They moved to Texas over a year ago and I miss her dearly. Especially cuz she is pregnant, too, right now!

Craving: nothing…I haven’t really had a craving for a few weeks…hmm…pregnancy, you’re letting me down! =)

  • I hope your bathroom was fixed quickly! There aren't many things worse than having a tiny pregnancy bladder, and not being able to use the restroom!!

  • I had horrible carpel tunnel when I was pregnant with Henry, I hope everything got fixed and you were able to use your potty in confidence again.
