These past two weeks have been kicking my butt. I’ve been trying to stay on top of everything, balance everything, and still trying to achieve my goals. I haven’t done a very good job with that. I’ve bitten off more than I can chew.
I find myself spending too much time on my computer and still not getting what I want done. So, I am going to begin only posting Monday, Wednesday, and Friday rather than 5 days a week. If I have a linkup or guest post, I’ll post it no matter what the day, but for the next two months, at least, it will only be three days a week. This is until I get a good balance of blogging, virtual assisting, growing my blog, working with She Teaches Fearlessly, reading, being a good wife, being a good daughter, being a good mother, and working on my health.
However, I will do a “semi-post” on Saturdays, kind of like the Full on Fridays…it’ll be a weekly review, as well as links to other posts I really enjoyed reading throughout the week.
Our nephew up in Boise got baptized last weekend. We were excited to go up so that Rhys could play with his cousins. It was beautiful up in Boise that weekend–80* and sunny! They also have a beautifully gorgeous big yard, so I took a few photos to have in my stock collection.
Degree Spray-On Deodorant
*I received this product free of charge in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.*
I loved these! I’ve tried inexpensive “goes on dry” / “invisible dry” stick deodorants before. But, I can always see it on my armpits and it always makes my shirts crusty and they still get sweat stains (I actually sweat a lot in my underarms). But this one really does spray on dry and invisible. My armpits feel smooth, my shirts aren’t crusty, and it does really help my sweat. I love it!
Justin was able to receive the male version. He says it was potent without being so strong that it smelled like too much Axe. It wasn’t irritating. It is very useful in quick situations. It lasted a long time. He wasn’t too impressed with the actual spraying function of the bottle itself, but enjoyed it overall.
Rhys and Circles
Rhys can draw circles now! We’ve been practicing for months! We are also still working on color recognition (by sorting) and he is about 70% correct. We’ve also started working on counting to three (even though he can’t really count out loud yet), and the difference between triangles, squares, and circles.
I am doing a free trial of Coschedule and will buy the cheapest subscription at the end of it. If you have any tips or hints or tricks, please let me know!
Wedding in June!
My sister is engaged! She will be getting married in mid-June. (She’s actually been engaged for a while, but has been waiting for the ring to officially proclaim it to the world.) Her fiancee is a pilot student named Dallin. We all love him. He treats my sister like a Queen, and Rhys has gotten very attached to him already. Whenever he walks in the door, Madison has to fight Rhys for his attention. We are super excited for their wedding!
