Intentional July 2016 Goals

Intentional goals for July 2016.

Happy 4th of July! I hope y’all are enjoying parades, BBQ’s, fireworks, and Americana! July is going to be a big month for us: Rhys and Justin both have birthdays, and we are moving to Texas because of Justin’s new job offer! We are super excited! So, I’m going to try to take it a bit easy with goals this month!

Intentional goals for July 2016.

How I did in June

Post at least twice a week…I barely posted at all in May, and I’m going to ease myself back into it. | Meh. I did post a few times, but I did not do twice a week every week.

Update SEO, images, links, and Pins for at least 5 posts per week. | Didn’t even try to attempt this.

Update my “Hire Me” page. | Didn’t even attempt this.

Get caught up on reading blogs….holy moly…you should see my Bloglovin feed! | I got down to 0 once….then it back out of control…

Get caught up on my email…again, I’ve let it slide a lot this month! | I did ok with this…a few times got to inbox zero, but kept delaying.

Exercise at least three times a week. | I did this about half the month!

Make smart choices with eating. | I did pretty well with this…

Family & Marriage

Enjoy my sister’s wedding in two weeks and help as much as I can with final details and setting up/taking down. | Madison’s wedding was beautiful! Perfect!

Celebrate my mom’s birthday, my youngest sister’s birthday, and father’s day.| We had a big family party before the wedding to celebrate them all!

Do a learning activity with Rhys every day–coloring, reading, shapes, numbers, songs, etc. | I did this about half the time.

Play a game with Justin at least once a week. | We did this until we left for training last week.

No griping, no groaning, no moaning, no murmuring, no complaining, no whining, no backbiting, no sharpness, no fighting back, no being stubborn, no rudeness, no laziness, no feeling sorry for myself. | I feel like I did pretty well…there were a few outbreaks that I had, and I did complain a bit. But much better than in May.

Create church youth class presidency binders and train myself as a youth leader in my church. | Didn’t do this, sadly.

    1. We have found a place, and we’re pretty sure that we will love it! It’s in a good area…Lewisville (if you or Angel are familiar with that area) and will only be a 15 minute commute for Justin whose job is in Grapevine.
