Kids Write (or Draw) the Darndest Things

So, I am home sick today.
But, I am still (barely–between spasms of coughing) able to bring you another edition of
I’ve been feeling down physically and mentally the past couple of weeks (probably due to first trimester morning sickness and all that). Oh, by the way bloggy followers–I’m pregnant! Check back on Friday for the first ultrasound picture!
So, instead of copying down quotes from my students’ writings, I wanted to show you want they do when they are bored and done with their classwork.
It gets quite entertaining, especially in my grammar classes.

Also, every day our school sends out a daily absent list (we’re small enough to do that easily).

Tayler is a work at home mom. She does free lance articles and dabbles in graphic design and virtual assisting for bloggers. She spent 3 years as a history and English teacher. Her passions are her husband, two children, history, reading, nature, and her Savior, Jesus Christ.
  • That's a lot different than what I have with the girls I coach! I have 3 Morgans, 2 Mallorys, 2 Maddies, 2 Taylors, 2 Mariahs and 4 girls that are all cousins and have the same last name. I would love a bit of variety with the names!

  • HAHAHHAAH! Utah names never cease to amazing! During practicum this past semester I had a boy in my class named Xhaiden – but even that is tame compared to many of those!
