I’m super excited to help cohost #LoveBlog with Belle Brita again this year! This is a daily linkup during the month of February, talking about anything and everything having to do with love. Each day has it’s own topic and anyone is welcome to join! Today’s topic is on Valentine’s Day!

I am one of the lucky girl when it comes to Valentine’s Day. My birthday is on February 10, so birthday surprises and V-day surprises come nearly back to back. Justin really spoils me: I get a gift for my birthday (and chocolate), a special dinner and/or date in between, then a gift and chocolate for Valentine’s Day. He calls it Valentine’s Week. And poor Justin…he did such a great job our first year of marriage that he feels he has to live up to that every year!

This year, it’s going to be a little more casual (I hope), since we paid for plane tickets for me and the kids to be in Utah right now. I think the best Valentine’s Day gift I gave Justin were some bacon roses. He absolutely loved them! Continue Reading
