You are a book blogger–what is your all time favorite book and why?
The dreaded question! I have such a hard time picking a favorite book! It’s always changing based on what I’ve recently read! Normally I do have a fall back though, and that book is called Bullshit by Harry G. Frankfurt. It’s a tiny little book that I’ve always carried around in my purse. The subject matter is rather obvious, but it’s such a quick and interesting read. A recent favorite read is American Gods by Neil Gaiman.
What is your least favorite book and why?
I hate a lot of things, although I normally don’t hate books. I’m going to have to pick Fifty Shades of Grey though. Mainly due to the writing style, I mean, it’s blatantly obvious that it was once fan fiction. I mean….all those terrible ‘inner goddess’ lines? Puh-leaseeee!
Why do you enjoy reading?
I’ve always enjoyed escaping into literature. As a child I had a VERY active imagination and reading has always sparked my creativity and allowed my mind to grow. There are so many worlds to explore, so many people to meet, and things to learn from books. It’s magical!

What are three things you learned since you started blogging?
1.How to properly grow and manage multiple social media accounts.
2. More about myself. Blogging has really taught me a lot about myself and looking back I can see how I’ve grown over the years too, both in my writing and my interests. It’s pretty awesome!
3. How many bloggers there are out there. I never realized how large the blogging community was until I joined it. There are so many amazing girls (and boys) out there blogging that I’ve gotten to meet and everyone is so helpful!

What is one of your guilty pleasures and why? Hmmm, probably eating brownie batter. I know, I know, you aren’t supposed to, but it tastes SO GOOD. In fact, I actually like uncooked brownie batter more than I like cooked brownies…which is a little bit weird.

  1. Any particular reason you like the number 15? I love the number 16, but have no idea why… HA!
Mint and cookies ice cream – YES! That's my favorite too. I get it anytime we go to specialty ice cream places.

I'm right there with Jess. I could eat brownie batter over actual brownies any day. A little tiny bit of raw egg never killed anyone… Right?? 🙂

  2. I don't know why I like 15, I just do. Best part about the icecream…it happens to be Justin's favorite, too!
My husband grew up with his dad making brownie batter all the time, then splitting it between him and all the kids to eat raw! Eww! Cookie dough, I understand, but batter?
