Intentional November 2016 Goals

Intentional November goals.

Each month seems to go by faster and faster. I can’t believe it! I mean, only two more months until we meet little Evelyn! I blinked and October was gone. Will November go by just as fast?!?! We’ve also started potty training Rhys the past 5 days ago. We are still having a couple of accidents a day, but he’s learning and he loves trying to use his little potty and earning stickers. Cross your fingers that we can go accident free soon!

Intentional November goals.

How I did in October

Blogging & Work

4 pitches for collaborations | I did two pitches, but I applied to a lot of campaigns even though I wasn’t accepted to any. But, I’m putting myself out there!

Get all my history lesson plans I created when I taught history onto Teachers Pay Teachers | Done!

Prepare everything for my new Etsy shop I’ll be opening in November| Um, kind of put on hold. I still need to create a few more prints, and I’m waiting for my light box to arrive so I can take good quality pictures!

Earn at least $100 a week in freelancing/virtual assisting | Some weeks were better than others. But, I did my best applying to different jobs. However, this last week of October, I made bank!

NO SNACKING AFTER RHYS GOES TO BED! | A-HAHAHAHA! I need to do better at this! I’m hating my thighs!

Work out 3 times a week for at least 20 minutes each. | I did about 50% of this. I need to get better again.

Marriage & Family

Let Rhys play outside 3 times a week | We did pretty good with this, but then we started potty training…

Do tot school with Rhys at least 3 times a week | I did pretty good at the beginning of the month, but not since then. We are only on “C”. I need to do better.

Go to the library’s story time at least 3 times a week | We went maybe twice this month.

Play video/board games with Justin at least 2 times a week | We did this maybe 75% of the time.

Have a NO SPEND month! | We did pretty good the first half of the month, then we bought Rhys a Halloween costume, had car issues (which we couldn’t avoid), ate out a few times (while dealing with car issues), and we all got a new book each.

Personal & Religious

Finish Rough Stone Rolling | DONE!

Study at least 3 chapters in Preach My Gospel | I’ve decided I’m gong to finish the Old Testament first…I have about 40 pages left.

Be more intentional with scripture reading and my prayers | I need to do better with this. I need to get up with Justin, before Rhys wakes up so I can actually focus.

Tayler from The Morrell

Tayler is a work at home mom. She does free lance articles and dabbles in graphic design and virtual assisting for bloggers. She spent 3 years as a history and English teacher. Her passions are her husband, two children, history, reading, nature, and her Savior, Jesus Christ.

  • Ashley Ziegler

Ooooo what 2017 planner are you going to get!?!? I got am Emily Ley planner for this year but it’s soooo heavy… I really love her planners but they’re just too thick and heavy to carry around all the time. I like the Mormon Mom planners (even though I’m not a mom). They’re religious centered and I really like that.

Also…. 40 PAGES LEFT of OT??? That’s incredible. I learned OT in Seminary my sophomore year (I think) aaaannnndddd I haven’t read it since. I just read the Epistle of James in the NT and really liked it!

    • I’m not sure yet. I had an Erin Condren this year, but I think I want one with more spaces.

I love reading the scriptures front to back…it’s taken me two years to do the OT. I started Jan 2015. It’ll be the 2nd time reading it all the way through.

  • Ashley Ponder

Wow! Your goals are so intentional and you have done so much. You did all that while taking care of a toddler and pregnant, I’m so impressed! I love how you are working on so many various areas and good for you for putting yourself out there.

    • Thanks, Ashley! My motto for this year was to be intentional and to bloom where I am planted.

  • I say this every time, but i really love the word intentional. I know I am happier when I am more intentional in all areas of my life.

    • It really has helped me this year, especially with all the downs that have happened.
