Stitch Fix

Kenidy Drawstring Knit Top & Camilla Fleece Lined Drawstring Jogger Pant | Stitch Fix

I have always wanted to do a Stitch Fix. However, as with all subscription boxes, I never liked the subscription monthly fee. And, with Stitch Fix specifically, I never was impressed with prices of the clothing–way to expensive for my taste.

But, when my friend, Liz, shared a code to waive the styling fee for all her readers, I had to jump at the opportunity. I love things like Stitch Fix. They help me expand my wardrobe by getting others’ opinions on what fashion I’d look good in!!

Now, here is the clincher…I didn’t actually buy anything…especially not this close after Christmas. But, there were a few pieces that I’d love to buy–if I had more available, spendable money.

Box Appeal: Meh…I’m not one for florals, but I’m willing to add to my wardrobe. But, when I saw it was shear, it was a definite nope.

Although it’s a cute design and I like the sharp colors, this wouldn’t work for me. I requested light fabrics because Texas is so hot, even in the winter. But, because of my Mormon garments, I have to wear a full shirt under this to make it Mormon-modest.

Decision: Would not have kept–Returned

Box Appeal: meh

I wasn’t sure how I would like this sweater shirt seeing it out of the box. I’m kind of picky when it comes to long sleeves. But, I actually really liked this sweater on me. I loved it. I personally thought it was flattering…but many of you weren’t so sure with this picture I posted on Instastories, and now looking at it, I agree. But it was comfy and light.

Decision: My third favorite from the box. Would have kept, if I had the budget. Returned.

Knit Top

Box Appeal: I loved it right out of the box.

I’ve wanted a knit top like this for a while–it’s athleisure. I wanted it to work out as well as to just wear around the house or errands. I also loved how it looked on me. It was so soft and comfy and warm, but not overbearing. This is what I desperately wanted right from the time I pulled it out of the box.

Decision: I would have definitely kept this–first option. …But, just like everything else, I had to return it.

Jogger Pants

Box Appeal: I wasn’t sure about this out of the box…they looked short and I don’t like leggings or jogger pants that only go to my shins.

But, when I put them on, I was happily surprised. They fit perfectly and went to my ankles. They weren’t tight at all against my waist, but they weren’t loose either. The jogger pants were also really super soft. It was like wearing cotton candy. I really wanted keep them. Really badly.

Decision: I would definitely have kept this, but had to return.

All in all, this was such a fun experience because I was able to see some good quality clothing that would totally work with my wardrobe that I never would’ve chosen myself. I wish I had the budget for this!
